Export Ready Africa is the AI-powered advisory platform for African SME exporters — built by professionals with 15+ years across West African trade development, EUDR compliance, and traceability architecture.
Our story
The gap isn't demand. International buyers actively want African commodities and agro-processed goods. The gap is the operational distance between an African SME with real product and a buyer in Hamburg, Dubai, or Shenzhen with a purchase order ready to issue.
That distance is made up of compliance documents, traceability evidence, FOB pricing logic, HS classification, NAFDAC and SON certifications, EUDR due-diligence statements, and the ten conversations it takes to negotiate a first contract. None of it is mysterious. All of it is teachable. Almost none of it is well-served by generic SaaS tools or generic AI assistants.
Export Ready Africa exists to compress that distance. The platform packages 15+ years of field experience — from designing export readiness frameworks, building traceability architectures, training exporter cohorts, and advising banks on green-finance instruments — into a set of AI tools, assessment frameworks, and curated courses that an SME exporter can actually use.
We're not a directory. We're not a marketplace. We're the advisory layer that sits between "I have product" and "I have a buyer."
What we bring
The Export Preparedness Score (EPS™), the NNTS traceability schema, and the FERA cohort methodology — each developed over years of fieldwork with African exporters and adapted into the platform.
EUDR readiness, Digital Product Passport methodology, and traceability architectures designed for African commodity sectors. Aligned to NAFDAC, SON, NEXIM, AfCFTA, and EU enforcement frameworks.
Bespoke advisory templates, compliance checks, document generators, and market intelligence — automated only where automation outperforms a human expert. Senior advisory remains human-led.
Frameworks we developed
Every assessment, advisory template, and course on this platform traces back to one of these four frameworks — all originated and field-tested by the team.
A six-dimension assessment framework that tells an exporter exactly where they stand on product readiness, compliance, market access, financial readiness, operations, and experience.
A reference data architecture for commodity traceability — designed to be EUDR-defensible while remaining implementable for SME-scale producers and cooperatives.
A 90-day curriculum for emerging exporters — methodology-tested through an 85-participant cohort, now the basis for the Academy modules and the Export Readiness Accelerator programme.
A methodology paper presented at the 44th UN/CEFACT Forum — applying digital passport architecture to African export commodity chains for EUDR and downstream traceability requirements.
How we operate
A compliance checklist for cocoa is not the same as one for cashew. Every template and tool is built for a sector, a corridor, and a buyer type — not a category.
Claims about markets, regulations, and pricing carry their source. Where data is illustrative, we say so. Where it is fresh, we date it.
AI handles the first 80% of conversation, the documentation, and the pattern matching. The 1-on-1 strategy work stays human and is priced accordingly.
Our customers are African; our suppliers and many of their buyers are international. Pricing reflects both currencies honestly, and we don't hide FX behind opaque conversion.
